John B. Schwartz Undergraduate Scholarship for Information Systems
In 2002 the department created an award for undergraduate Information Systems majors displaying outstanding scholarship and service to the university. The award goes to senior students prior to the semester they are to graduate. In summer of 2003 by vote of the faculty the award was named in honor of Mr. Schwartz in recognition of his service and contributions to the department, its students, and the university community.
