IS Alumna Voted Chair for Maryland Association of CPAs

Kimberly Ellison Taylor ’93, engineering and information technology, was voted chair elect (vice chair) for the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. She will be the first African American, female chair for the organization, which has 11,000 members.

Ms. Ellison is a graduate of UMBC’s BA degree program in Information Systems. The faculty and staff of The Department of Information Systems congratulates Kimberly Ellison Taylor on this professional accomplishment.
